Sometime this week I'll be taking a day off to go ride with Smudgemo, author of You Just Don't Want To and resident of Berkeley, CA. The trail will include The Flume Trail and the Tahoe Rim Trail, but I'm not sure of the start and end points yet. More details as they develop...

would love to go but need at least a week's notice to get time off. Any chance we can go on the weekend or is it a timing thing?
It doesn't really matter to me. I just can't ditch the family for more than one day and hope to stay married. I think we are planning to head home on Monday, so Sunday might also work out. We gotta get some post-ride beers, though!

I'm planning for Wednesday since that day works for me; however, if a weekend trip wants to be planned, that's fine too. I don't think I'll be in that plan though...gotta have a garage sale in preparation for moving! Poker run on Saturday too...

Yeah, it's wrong to squeeze someone's tires on the 1st date. You need to at least buy them dinner first.
Maybe smudgemo should hit the poker run with us...?
