Water Bottle Storage
What to do with the microwave that has been broken since October? This question has been on our minds for a while now. This morning when I asked Jeff, "what should we do with all these water bottles?" All of our cupboards are full! He suggested sticking them in the micro. We can't use it and we don't really want to get another one. So there you go. Useful space, just going to waste. I don't really like the idea of lighting up you food with microwaves before eating it. It just doesn't seem to make sense anymore. So there you have it, easy access water bottle storage! I am sure there are many other uses you can think of for your micro.

nice way to recycle space!
Ours is a breadbox...
Michelle... Thanks. I was so pleased!
Brent... Great idea!
How can you survive without a microwave??
Chris....
It took me about a month to get used to, but now I will never go back. I just heat everything up on the stove now. I actually like it better because I have more control of the temperature of the food. It seemed like I would over cook food in the micro. Sometimes it would explode all over the place or just dry out beyond all recognition. In the micro pizza would always turn out kinda soggy and cold in the middle or scalding hot and dried out. In the oven under the broiler it always turns out perfect! Evenly warmed and crispy.
You should try it for a month, you might like it!
I have long been of the mind that microwaves are evil... they ruin food.
I agree! Micros are evil destroyers of food.
When we were selling our house in Truckee, in order to " Stage " it we took the microwave off the counter. It did only take a week or so to get used to not having it. I found I was eating a lot less processed foods, and I wasnt eating as often because I had to actually cook st ! well, we did get one built in when we re-did our kitchen down here. I have to say we dont use it as much..
Marcus...
That's cool! So that means you are probably still eating better too!
I like my food cold,on the floor, and in a stainless steel dish.
