I saw this over at SNAKEBITE'S blog a few weeks ago, and it made me laugh. I think about it a lot, because this stuff happens almost every day! Had to repost...
I like the quote, "Motorists don't have time to pack a lunch".
I'm often asked, "If you ride at lunch, when do you eat?"
The part that really hits home for me though is the yelling from the car and the honking. You never understand a word they yell out. And the honking...I can hear a 4x4 coming for quite a while before they give me the courtesy honk. Those big mud tires aren't stealth technology...
Yeah. Wave and smile. People honk because they want to make YOU angry. You win if their mission is not accomplished. They stay angry. I save the retaliation for when I am at cocktail parties or dinner parties, and people say things like " those damn cyclists think they own the road" I like to engage conversation by starting with the " Mr. Spock" one raised eybrow look...

I'm in here watching this video laughing, my wife is in the shower yelling at me cause she thinks I'm dying or something.
Another moment brought to me by the friendly neighborhood Facility Bike Club.

That is classic! I like the one where she throws the steak!
Fun video, isn't it?

I want that car. Of course with big mud tires and a winch! :^)
Motorist who slam cyclists are wasting their time. And honking really pisses me off.
Those honks mean, "I love you."
Yes, perhaps it's just the angry timbre of the horn. Horns may just be misunderstood.
