The Limo

The Limo

We just picked this up today! Room in the garage is a little tight, but it fit nonetheless. We took it for a spin around the neighborhood tonight and got a feel for it. I tried hard, but couldn't wheelie it. Going off the curbs feels weird too. You expect the rear wheel to drop, but it's late getting there.

We need to do a little customization for the rear cockpit area to fit our six year old, and then we'll be set. I think it's going to be a lot of fun!

Nice ride. I'll get the pedal adapters for the limo today. Is that a fixed stoker stem I see in the picture? If it is, I have an adjustable stem you can use.

I wonder how those things actually do on the trail. I bet it is something to experience.

The stoker stem is adjustable, but not much. I'd like to see what you have.

Now we can say that we have a purple powder coated bike with a dragon, hand painted on the top tube! It's pretty cool, I think Charlie is impressed.

I will have to say the first time I was the stoker, I screamed the whole time. It was terrifying! Real easy to get used to though, by the second ride I was asking Moser, come on lets see how fast we can get this thing going! Charlie and I are going to have some fun, he didn't even want to get off it last night. Neither did I.

That's sweet! I house-sat once for an uncle who had a tandem and he told me I could ride it all I want. So I did. Everyday to work, by myself. They sure are fun to ride. I love how the steer to wide. I would stop of at my wife's (then my girlfiends0 work, and everyone would ask for rides. I've since wanted one, but haven't pursued it to much. Very nice bike! I'm stoked for you. Cheers.

Super nice ride!

Thank you Anne, and thank you for stopping by!

From what I understand, underneath the pretty powder coating is an older KHS frame. A 2.1 tire barely squeezes into the rear triangle, but other than that seems like a well made frame.

What is the deal with everyone buying a triple-tandem (contradiction in terms?)? Is this the new 29er?
Looks like fun; probably more fun than pulling a 6 year old around in a burley! :^)

I like this idea, maybe this new "limo" is not so practical in all situations, but it seems a big fun!

And I think when you finish all details properly, you will use it with pleasure. You made it great, congratulations!
